I missed February!

I can't believe my last post was in January and it is now March! What on earth was I doing? I have no idea but I can tell you what Gabriel was doing...

He has been learning and growing non-stop. He is quite a character these days. He is starting to talk more and more. I have figured recently that I have been a bit too judgemental when listening for words. I need to listen a little closer. We were watching his learning DVD last week and after he repeated the narrator saying "bib" and it sounded more like "bii" I realized he has probably been telling me things for weeks that I didn't understand. He loves his learning video, especially when they sing songs. His favorite song to sing these days is "Row, Row, Row your Boat." Grandma has even been serenaded a few times on the phone. He is also quite a copy cat. From getting water from the fridge, putting on shoes, feeding Rahja and even sitting on the toilet he wants to do it all. This is great expect most of the time he wants to do it all by himself which he isn't quite ready for. He has been a bit of a picky eater lately but I think mainly because he is getting his final set of molars. He does however LOVE vegetable juice. Wait until he gets older and I tell him what is in it ;-) He usually wants whatever Keven and I are eating which isn't all bad. Recently after watching us eat Salmon he wanted to try. He nodded his head yes said "mmm" a couple times and reached for the fork again. We will put that in the "he likes it" column.

Here are some February phone pics...

On weekend and the days I work from home we always take a walk and a trip to the park before his afternoon nap. He loves the slide...some days he is braver than others.

Tackling me before bedtime...trying to avoid actually going to bed!

Learning where his nose is.

Being a little boy. He has no interest in keeping his room clean anymore. Not sure that he ever did but he didn't tear it up so quickly after I had cleaned it in the past.

On our way to potty training. I asked him if he pooped and he ran in and sat on the toilet and flushed it. Unfortunately that didn't solve the dirty diaper...but still cute.

My picky eater dipping toast into yogurt...okay?

The slide was a bit warm for his liking.

Just listening to some music ;-)

My favorite :) Oh I just love him so much!

I think it is safe to say he knows where his nose is.

Keven left his helmet out so monkey see tried it on.

My cool guy at the park.
