Father's Day!

We had a great Father's Day! I cooked a big breakfast and then we all headed to the Diamondback's game. Due to a bad service we had received earlier in the season I had a homerun porch suite for free! It was perfect because all 5 of us could go and have plenty of space to stretch out. Gabriel has been to games before in our season ticket seats but nothing like this. Food was included and he made the most of it with fries and bottled water. He wanted nothing to do with his cup since everyone else was drinking from a water bottle. He cheered, he clapped, he ate...and ate...and ate, ran around little and then passed out in the car. A full day!

Unfortunately the Diamondback's lost but we still had fun.

And finally, the car ride home. He was even snoring a little. A little cute snore of course.

Walking and Talking.

Gabriel has always enjoyed the phone...touching it, holding it, pressing buttons and so on. Well lately he has really taken a liking to talking on the phone, which can make work phone calls a bit difficult since he thinks all calls are for him. I called Gene this morning to wish him a Happt Father's Day so Gabriel talked, at length, with both Grandpa and Grandma. Here is part of his conversation with Grandma. I have it on speaker so you can hear both sides. The funniest part about Gabriel on the phone is that he is constantly in motion while talking, I think he learned that from watching me while working from home.

Morning with Mickey

Most every morning Gabriel and I watch Mickey's Clubhouse. It is very cute when he recognizes Mickey on TV and grabs his stuffed Mickey to play with. Here he is hanging out in his rocker, another daily activity.

Victory!

Gabriel has been working very hard at figuring out his Bumbo, at least how to get in and out unassisted. He has finally conquered it! He even did it with a mouth full of blueberry toast.

His country and his kids...

Those are a few of Keven's favorite things so for Father's Day, since we actually have all the kids in AZ, I took the opportunity to get a picture of them all together. I made everyone dress in some sort of patriotic shirt or colors so they would "flow" without being too matched. Of course we picked the hottest day of the year so far. Ugh! So we didn't get a chance to try to many poses, no matter because we ended up with some cute stuff. We gave Keven a framed pic of all three kids for Father's Day, the rest were just for fun.

We actually took the pictures in the same location that we had my maternity shoot.

When did my baby became a little boy?!

Music rules the day!

Here are a couple videos from yesterday and today. This first one, from yesterday, was while cleaning my room (hence the piles of clothes around and the vacuums). I had the music channel (not videos, just music) on while "we" cleaned. gabriel was feeling this one song in particular. The video is a little dark but you can clearly see his moves. Maybe the toothbrush helped ;-)

This is from tonight. You should know that Gabriel had a LONG teething afternoon so I was happy to see something distract him. I was trying not to let him know that I was filming since he gets camera fright so the angles are a bit off. Not sure where this boy gets his moves!

Long car ride with a big prize!

Last weekend Keven, Gabriel and I ventured to San Diego, CA. Some good friends of ours, Mike and Sheryl, have a condo on Imperial Beach. This was actually Gabriel's 2nd time to the beach, in fact almost exactly a year ago. I am sure he doesn't remember is Mexico beach trip since he was only 12 weeks old at the time.

Anyhow, this was his first extended car ride. I think he did fantastic. Keven may tell you different but I think for a 1 year old that is cutting his molars and trapped in a car seat for 11-12 hours roundtrip, he did great!

The condo was beautiful, right on the beach. Gabriel even got a room all to himself.

First morning.

He wasn't a big fan of the water. I think it was just too cold be cause he loves his bath. Our bath that night took a bit longer since we had to de-sand.
